Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Manager, Protective Services to lead protective operations, training, and vendor management. You will own incident response and converged physical-cyber protection, reporting to the Director, Protective Services.

You will guide staffing, standards, and decisions on risk, while staying hands-on in field operations. This role requires travel and the ability to work across intelligence, security, and legal teams to protect people and assets.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in protective/security/military ops with 5+ years of people management.
• Ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information under high-consequence conditions.
• Proven track record building or scaling protective capability and setting standards.
• Experience overseeing multiple protective disciplines with cost, method, and staffing accountability.
• Fluency in physical and cyber security concepts and networked systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead protective operations, staffing, assignment, and decision-making across the program.
• Own training and standards, ensuring certification and records.
• Oversee vendor and supplier management, procurement thresholds.
• Manage incident response and real-time protection decisions.
• Collaborate with intelligence and cybersecurity teams on converged protection.
