Job summary

Dragos, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Product Security Engineering to lead and grow the product security team while remaining hands‑on.

You will drive certifications such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, manage vulnerability remediation, and coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Sales Engineering. As a working manager, you’ll split time between leadership responsibilities and individual contributor work, delivering a security program across cloud, on‑prem, and virtualized environments to protect critical

Qualifications

• 5+ years in direct cybersecurity or product security.
• 1-2+ years leading security engineers or equivalent leadership experience.
• Experience obtaining/maintaining SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, FedRAMP or DISA STIG.
• Hands‑on working manager splitting leadership and technical work.
• Experience with SAST/DAST and CI/CD security tooling.
• Security in cloud, on‑prem, and virtualized environments.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication with Compliance, Legal, Sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow the product security engineering team (Principal and Staff engineers).
• Own and drive certification/ accreditation initiatives (DISA STIG, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Translate strategy into executable roadmaps and hold team accountable.
• Remain hands‑on: contribute to vulnerability remediation and tooling.
• Prioritize vulnerability hunting and patching to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Sales Engineering for audits.
• Report on certification posture and remediation SLAs to leadership.
• Establish evidence collection for renewals and audits.
• Foster a strong technical community within Engineering Management.
