Job summary

TaxSlayer is seeking Seasonal Remote Technical Support Specialists to join our 100% remote team for the 2026 tax season. Starting December 2026, you will support customers using TaxSlayer Pro software from home, with shifts ranging 6–8 hours. This is a seasonal position open to several states.

Responsibilities include assisting with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software and hardware, plus network, firewall, and connectivity support. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in technical support or help desk.
• Associate/Bachelor in IT or related field preferred.
• Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) encouraged.
• Military IT MOS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers via phone.
• Assist with installation and configuration of TaxSlayer Pro products.
• Troubleshoot networks, printers, scanners, antivirus, and firewall programs.
• Guide customers through server and network setup.
• Maintain strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Research and resolve complex technical issues.
