Job summary

TaxSlayer is seeking Seasonal Remote Technical Support Specialists to join our 100% remote team for the 2026 tax season, starting December 2026. This role supports customers using TaxSlayer Pro software and offers an hourly pay of $17.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of technical support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and can multitask across software platforms while communicating clearly with clients. This is a federal contractor role with compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers via phone
• Assist with installation and configuration of TaxSlayer Pro products
• Troubleshoot networks, printers, scanners, antivirus, and firewall programs
• Guide customers through server and network setup
• Maintain strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
• Research and resolve complex technical issues
