Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking agents to handle inbound and outbound customer calls from home. Agents will respond to inquiries about products and services, follow scripts, and research solutions to assist customers across channels where available.

The role requires strong phone skills, active listening, and the ability to work independently in a BYOD setup. Position is temporary with part-time hours and potential to move to regular employment depending on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months customer service or customer support experience preferred.
• 3-6 months call center or office background experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong phone and verbal communication with active listening.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Background check required by state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Handle large volumes of inbound or outbound calls promptly.
• Address customer questions about products and services via phone, email, and chat where applicable.
• Follow scripted responses for different topics to ensure consistency.
• Identify needs, clarify information, research solutions and present alternatives.
• Access company resources to accurately resolve calls and assist customers.
• Upsell products when opportunities arise and maintain professionalism at all times.
