Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Sales Development Representative I to drive growth by creating qualified opportunities and introducing prospective customers to Lumen. You will engage IT leaders, uncover challenges, navigate objections, and connect organizations with outcomes-based solutions.

This role provides a strong foundation in technology sales, with exposure to networking, cloud, security, and AI offerings. You will work remotely from the United States, follow a structured prospecting process, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in sales, lead gen, or customer engagement.
Strong written and verbal communication; effective objections handling.
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

Execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns to generate qualified opportunities.
Make 75 outbound calls per day while managing a high-volume workflow.
Engage IT decision-makers at mid-market and large enterprises; use discovery with BANT.
Lead meaningful customer conversations, respond to objections, and connect business challenges with Lumen solutions.
Schedule qualified meetings and transition to the sales account team.
Maintain accurate customer activity and next steps in Salesforce.
