Lumen is a trusted network provider delivering AI-ready connectivity across cloud, edge and AI workloads. The Account Manager II, Desk Based, will drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth in a remote, work-from-home setting, using consultative selling and Salesforce to track opportunities.
You will prospect, qualify opportunities, coordinate with internal teams, deliver a compelling value proposition, and maintain accurate forecasts while meeting monthly quotas and building strong
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 4+ years in technology sales or related industries
- Experience developing new business opportunities
- Desk-based or inside sales experience
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills
- Experience using Salesforce to manage opportunities
- Strong communication and organization
Responsibilities
- Desk-based prospecting, selling and account management
- Deliver strong value proposition during consultative selling
- Qualify through calls, emails, social media, campaigns
- Provide timely quotes and follow-up
- Prepare agendas for customer calls and meetings
- Engage internal resources to ensure exceptional customer experience
- Forecast and maintain accurate sales activity in Salesforce
- Mentor teammates and lead by example
