Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Sales Development Representative I to drive growth by creating qualified sales opportunities and introducing prospective customers to Lumen. You will engage business and technology leaders, uncover challenges, and connect organizations with solutions that support strategic goals.

This remote role offers a strong foundation in technology sales, with opportunities to learn Lumen’s outcome selling framework and advance within the sales organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of sales/lead gen experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns (phone, email, etc.) to generate qualified opportunities.
• Complete 75 outbound calls per day in a high-volume workflow.
• Engage IT decision-makers at mid-market and large enterprises using discovery conversations.
• Lead customer conversations, handle objections, connect business challenges with Lumen solutions.
• Schedule qualified meetings and transition to the sales account team.
• Collaborate with sales teams to drive engagement and opportunity progression.
• Develop knowledge of Lumen’s networking, cloud, security, and AI solutions.
