Job summary

Cartwheel is hiring a Mental Health Therapist, Contractor to support schools remotely across NY and beyond. You’ll work 8-20 hours weekly with middle and high school students, collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, and school staff.

Role is 1099 independent contractor with flexible scheduling and teletherapy delivery. Requirements include NY LCSW or LCSW-R, MS or higher in relevant field, and experience with CBT/DBT/ACT, telehealth, and Zoom/GSuite.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering care via telehealth.
• Master's degree or higher from an accredited program.
• Active NY license (LCSW or LCSW-R) to provide independent care.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health assessments and tele-therapy to middle and high school students in partner districts.
• Participate in case discussions with Cartwheel team members.
• Support students and families with transition to community mental health and primary care.
• Build collaborative relationships with school leadership, staff, students, and families; meet regularly to discuss needs and strategies.
