Job summary

Cartwheel is hiring a Mental Health Therapist for a fully remote position to support K-12 students and school staff. The role requires an active independent license in Colorado and experience with teletherapy.

Candidates should have a passion for mental health in educational settings and the ability to provide effective care, including crisis management. Competitive compensation ranges from $60–$70/hour with additional bonuses based on service to higher-need populations.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience delivering mental health services to children and youth.
• Familiarity with Zoom, G‑Suite, and electronic health record systems is required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health assessments and teletherapy to students and staff.
• Participate in case discussions with team members.
• Support transitions to community care for families.

Skills

Active independent license in Colorado

Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy

Excellent organization skills

Fluency in another language

Education

Master’s or higher in mental health field
