Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Project Engineer, Renewable Electrical Engineering (SCADA) to lead end-to-end SCADA systems delivery for wind, solar, and battery projects. You will drive design translation, procurement, commissioning, acceptance, and turnover, ensuring safe startup and reliable performance from day one.

You will partner with OEMs, operators, and owners to align controls, data paths, and IT/OT security.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
4+ years in SCADA for transmission, distribution, and/or generation.
Experience with networking gear and industrial protocols (OPC, DNP3, Modbus).
Experience with HV/MV infrastructure (substations, transformers, relays).
Strong project management and multi-project coordination skills.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

Lead commissioning and startup of SCADA and communications for wind, solar, and battery projects.
Build and secure the plant communications network (IP plans, protocols, firewall rules).
Coordinate with stakeholders to meet operational and grid requirements.
Define scope, sequence, readiness gates, and risk mitigations for energization and turnover.
Provide on-site programming and field support during commissioning when required.
Maintain specifications for SCADA, RTUs, and IT/OT equipment.
Deliver complete as-built turnover packages to Operations for maintenance.
