Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Project Engineer, Renewable Electrical Engineering (SCADA) to lead the end-to-end delivery of SCADA systems for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. You will design, procure, commission, test, and turnover SCADA/OT/IT infrastructure, ensuring safe startup and reliable performance from day one.

You will work with diverse stakeholders, manage schedules, and stay current on technology and best practices while traveling up to 25% and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree.
• 4+ years of transmission, distribution, and/or generation SCADA systems experience.
• Knowledge of networking equipment and protocols (OPC, DNP3, Modbus, EGD).
• Experience with HV/MV electrical infrastructure (substations, switchyards, distribution, transmission).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; up to 25% travel; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant commissioning and startup of SCADA and communications systems for wind, solar, and battery projects and deliver a clean turnover to Operations.
• Build and secure the communications network that runs the plant: IP plans, protocols, interfaces, and firewall rules across SCADA/OT/IT.
