Job summary
Invenergy LLC is seeking a Project Engineer, Renewable Electrical Engineering (SCADA) to lead end‑to‑end SCADA systems delivery for wind, solar, and battery projects. You will design, procure, commission, test, and turnover SCADA/OT/IT infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable startup from day one.
The role requires coordination with OEMs and operators, familiarity with industry protocols, and strong project management.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree.
- 4+ years of transmission, distribution, and/or generation SCADA systems experience.
- Knowledge of networking equipment connecting generation assets.
- Experience with industrial protocols such as OPC, DNP3, Modbus and EGD.
- Experience around HV/MV electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead safe commissioning and startup of SCADA and comms for wind, solar and battery projects.
- Build and secure the plant communications network (IP plans, protocols, firewall rules).
- Coordinate with plant controller OEMs, transmission operators, generator owners/operators.
- Own energization and commissioning execution plan with scope, sequence, readiness gates, risk mitigations.
