Job summary

Answerthink, a Hackett Group company, seeks a Business Development Representative to drive pipeline growth and shape outbound sales. You will work with AEs to identify opportunities, build relationships, and help midmarket clients transform operations with SAP solutions.

This remote-first role collaborates with leadership and marketing to refine outbound programs and accelerate revenue growth across the US.

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in enterprise software sales or business development.
Experience running multi-touch outbound sequences including messaging design.
Comfort handling objections live on the phone with adaptable approach.
Track record of qualifying opportunities through discovery.
High-level understanding of ERP and midmarket software needs.
Strong communication skills translating technical concepts to business terms.
Experience working remotely with strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

Execute persona- and industry-specific outbound sequences against SAP accounts and build target lists.
Develop and refine outbound sequences with Marketing; test approaches and report on results.
Respond to inbound leads with prompt follow-up and context-appropriate conversations.
Conduct discovery calls to surface pain points, priorities, and fit.
Advance opportunities from target accounts to sales-accepted leads with clear context.
Maintain accurate contact and pipeline data.
Identify ways to improve program performance and surface insights.
Evaluate and pilot new sales tools and technologies with team recommendations.
