Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines connecting client financial systems to a new budgeting/forecasting platform. This fully remote role requires SAP SAC, HANA, S/4HANA, and BW/4HANA experience, plus CDS/SQL proficiency for data transformation.

With 5+ years in data integration or data engineering and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, timely delivery, and secure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a data integration, CDS view development, ETL, or data engineering role.
• Experience with SAP SAC/S4HANA/BW data integration and CDS/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to extract financial data and load into budgeting platform.
• Collaborate to analyze source data from SAP S/4HANA and other government financial systems.
• Write CDS views and SQL to transform, cleanse, and validate data for budgeting solution.
• Implement data quality checks, validation routines, and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines to meet SLAs and processing windows.
• Work with project managers and consultants to align integration with project goals.
• Document data flows, integration specifications, and SOPs.
