Job summary

FormativGroup is seeking an Account Executive for the Salesforce SLED practice to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across State, Local Government, and Education sectors.

This remote role requires building trusted executive relationships, collaborating with Salesforce field teams, and delivering digital transformation solutions that drive measurable outcomes for public sector clients.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years enterprise technology sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years selling Salesforce consulting or cloud solutions.
• Proven ability to sell into State Government, Local Government, Public Sector, Higher Education, or K-12.
• Track record of quota attainment and managing multi-hundred-thousand to multi-million deals.
• Travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new SLED opportunities for Salesforce services and digital transformation.
• Build and manage a strategic territory plan and fuel the Salesforce ecosystem partnerships.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles from discovery to contract.
• Engage C-level and procurement stakeholders to articulate ROI and outcomes.
• Collaborate with delivery and Salesforce teams to craft winning solutions.
