Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Sales Specialist for Histology Instruments to drive territory growth and instrument placements. You will work remotely across the assigned U.S.

geography, partnering with Sales, Service, and Applications teams to optimize customer workflows and adoption of Core Histology solutions. The role requires 5+ years in sales (or 3+ with a Master’s) in capital equipment, with strong strategic selling and CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of sales experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience managing a sales territory and driving opportunities to close.
• Experience with strategic selling and complex customer environments.
• Proficiency with CRM forecasting, pipeline health, and account planning.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory revenue growth and instrument placements by executing territory and account plans.
• Achieve annual sales objectives through disciplined funnel management and accurate forecasting.
• Build and maintain relationships to expand Leica Biosystems' presence through workflow modernization and replacements.
• Coordinate demonstrations, installations, and onboarding with cross-functional teams to ensure adoption.
• Leverage competitive intelligence and product knowledge to improve win rates across the territory.
