Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Sales Manager in the United States to lead a high-performing sales team, strengthen customer partnerships, and achieve our sales and profitability targets. You will coach the team through the full sales cycle, build strategic plans, and collaborate across Marketing, Innovation, and Operations to convert opportunities into results.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in a large-scale B2B environment, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in a large-scale B2B environment.
• 12+ years of experience across technical, sales and management, ideally in packaging.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Significant experience in senior sales leadership roles.
• Experience in a multinational organization, packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of delivering financial targets and growing businesses.
• Experience coaching and developing talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing sales team to meet annual goals and profitability targets.
• Develop account plans linking customer needs with Amcor's capabilities and drive annual operating plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Innovation, Customer Service, Operations and other teams to turn opportunities into results.
• Maintain and update account plans in Salesforce and drive proactive funnel management.
• Lead pricing and margin initiatives to protect margins and deliver growth.
