Job summary

Kemper Corporation in Colorado Springs is seeking a Sales Executive to act as a brand ambassador between Kemper and its agency network. The role focuses on growing profitable revenue, building agency relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering market insights.

The ideal candidate will be in the field, manage agency visits, train on underwriting guidelines, and travel as needed within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Business or Marketing preferred) or 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• 1+ years Insurance experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Must possess effective communication skills and be an acceptable public speaker.
• Must be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter.
• Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and build action plans around insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize and execute a plan to profitably grow territory to meet/exceed premium and policy plans.
• Build and maintain agency relationships and agency appointments.
• Travel outside an assigned territory; frequent and extensive travel may be required.
• Train agents on underwriting guidelines, procedures, programs, websites and rating tools.
• Maintain up-to-date records of field activity and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with sales leadership, Product Managers, Claims, Marketing and Customer Service/Underwriting.
• Be in the field engaging face-to-face with agencies and partners; plan visits with topics and action items.
