Job summary

Kemper in the Phoenix, AZ area is seeking a Sales Executive - Commercial Auto to drive profitable growth within an assigned territory and influence agents to sell Kemper Commercial Auto. This remote role requires frequent local travel and candidates must reside in the Phoenix area.

You will implement sales strategies, collaborate with internal partners, cross-sell Kemper Auto offerings, develop and maintain agency relationships, and pursue new business while protecting profitability.

Qualifications

• ~3+ years of sales experience required with 1+ years of Commercial insurance preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals.
• Collaborates with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes.
• Utilizes the appropriate sales tools to influence behavior, and drive results.
• Identifies opportunities to cross-sell Kemper Auto products and identified agencies needs aligned with Kemper Auto offerings.
• Responsible for managing and developing a territory of independent agents.
• Provides an outstanding experience for agents through consultative selling.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with agents at all levels within the agency.
• Drives new business growth, mix of business, retention, and profitability within assigned territory.
• Stays current on product and pricing trends to drive intended outcomes.
• Actively participates in regional strategy meetings to develop and lead execution of business goals.
• Assist in the implementation of new production launches.
