Job summary

Cyera is seeking a Sales Engineering Manager for Identity Security - West in the Bay Area. You will lead the sales engineering team, collaborate with sales, product, and R&D, and craft tailored technical solutions to demonstrate the value of Cyera's Identity Security platform to customers.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in sales engineering with 5+ in leadership, cloud security experience (AWS/Azure), and strong communication skills. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–10 years in sales engineering or a related technical role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP or data security experience.
• Strong understanding of Identity and key identity principles.
• Experience with AI-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Fundamental understanding of ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, Privacy and Data Retention.
• Fundamental network & database experience.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales engineering team, providing mentorship and career development.
• Collaborate with sales and R&D to identify opportunities and tailor technical solutions.
• Design and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Stay informed about product features, enhancements, and roadmaps.
• Serve as a technical advisor for customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Track industry trends to inform sales strategies and product development.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and case studies.
• Participate in industry events and webinars to promote solutions.
