Job summary

Cyera is seeking a Sales Engineering Director in the United States to lead our sales engineering team and collaborate with sales, product, and R&D to demonstrate the value of our Identity Security solution.

The ideal candidate will drive technical demonstrations, manage POCs, and work closely with product teams to align roadmaps with customer needs while mentoring the team and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in sales engineering or a related technical role, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP or data security.
• Strong understanding of Identity principles and data security.
• Familiarity with AI-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Understanding of ML/AI, Data Reg Frameworks, Privacy and Data Retention.
• Basic network & database knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales engineering team, providing mentorship and career development opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales and R&D teams to identify and qualify opportunities, understand customer needs, and tailor technical solutions.
• Design and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Stay informed about the latest features, enhancements, and roadmaps.
• Serve as a technical advisor for customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution architectures, and case studies.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars.
