Cribl's Storage & Analysis team is hiring a Sales Engineer Specialist to drive adoption of our telemetry platform. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, run product demos, and partner with Sales to accelerate opportunities across the Eastern Region.

This remote-first role requires 5+ years in logs/observability or security in customer-facing settings, a Bachelor's degree, and willingness to travel up to 30%. Base salary ranges from $130k to $190k plus incentives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logs, metrics, observability, IT operations, or security in a customer-facing role.
• Experience selling into new and existing customers (land & expand).
• Ability to teach opportunities via consultative selling approaches.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 3–5 years in customer-facing roles.
• Background in cybersecurity, data analytics, or AI/ML technologies.

Responsibilities

• Explain value of Cribl Storage & Analysis products throughout the sales cycle.
• Partner with Product Sales Specialist to drive pipeline and customer engagement.
• Create demos and selling artifacts reflecting customer buying patterns.
• Demo the product and answer questions during initial sales calls.
• Deliver sales presentations and run Proof of Value events.
• Guide customers through proof-of-concept activities.
• Document use cases in blogs and product documentation.
