Cribl, a remote-first B2B SAAS data observability company, seeks a high-performing Sales Engineer Specialist for its Storage & Analysis portfolio. You will be a trusted technical advisor, partnering with Sales to accelerate opportunities, develop demos, and deliver proofs of value to customers across the Eastern region and beyond.

The role requires 5+ years in logs/observability or security in a customer-facing capacity, strong consultative selling skills, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logs, metrics, observability, IT ops or security in customer-facing roles
• Experience selling to new and existing customers and expanding accounts
• Ability to guide opportunities with consultative selling methods
• Bachelor’s or equivalent plus 3–5 years in a customer-facing role or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Explain value of Cribl's Storage & Analysis products through the sales process
• Develop and execute sales strategies with a Product Sales Specialist
• Create demos and content reflecting customer usage patterns
• Demo products, answer questions, conduct PV events
• Guide customers through proofs of concept and ensure outcomes
• Document use cases in blog posts and product docs
