Job summary

Tenna seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to support the Sales Team through product demos, negotiations, and expert responses to technical questions. You will maintain demo environments, train Sales and Customer Success, and collaborate with Engineering and Product on platform changes.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, strong service orientation, and travel up to 50% while working remotely from IN/IL/PA or nearby locations. Enthusiastic learners encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a Sales Engineer or pre-sales role.
• 5+ years’ experience providing technical support within a SaaS environment.
• Experience in construction technology is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce/Help Scout/HubSpot or similar.
• Strong service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support through the full sales cycle, including demos.
• Answer customer questions and convey platform capabilities precisely.
• Build and maintain software demonstration environments per specs.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, and Product.
• Lead internal product training for Sales and Customer Success.
• Onboard new Sales and Customer Success Reps onto the platform.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and maintain Salesforce/HubSpot databases.
• Liaise with leadership on training, strategy, and roadmap.
