Job summary

Tenna is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support our Sales Team across the full sales cycle, delivering product demos and strategic technical guidance tailored to customer needs.

You will collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, and Product, maintain demo environments, train internal teams, and help shape the product roadmap. Remote-ready with travel up to 60% and relocation to eligible states as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Sales Engineer or pre-sales role.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, CS, or related field preferred.
• Strong experience with Salesforce, Help Scout, HubSpot, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical curiosity and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 50% as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support throughout the sales cycle, including product demonstrations and negotiations.
• Build and maintain software demonstration environments per specifications.
• Use a consultative approach to understand and address customer pain points.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, and Product on platform changes and issues.
• Lead internal product training for Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Onboard new Sales and Customer Success Reps and certify training.
