Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to partner with Sales Executives across Channel, SMB, and Major Accounts to translate prospects' challenges into a demo they remember and a proof of concept that wins the deal. This remote role covers the United States and requires up to 50% travel.

You will run live demos, both remote and in-person, and map customer goals to PAR's POS and restaurant technology offerings while owning the technical details through the pilot.

Qualifications

• 4+ years minimum in sales engineering, technical solutions sales, or restaurant technology operations.
• Experience with POS and restaurant management software for the QSR or table-service software or hardware industry is required.
• Ability to explain complex technology to key stakeholders in plain language.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Executives to turn prospects' challenges into a demo and a proof of concept that wins the deal.
• Run live demos, remote and in-person, built around each prospect's needs.
• Understand customer goals and map them to PAR's current and future offerings.
• Work out the technical requirements and equipment behind a great guest experience.
• Design around the operation and collaborate with teams to shape how menu design fits customer workflows.
• Act as Technical Account Manager through the trial and own the technical details and configurations.
• Be the customer’s go-to from the first call through the pilot.
• Travel up to 50% of the time in role.
