Job summary

Samsara is hiring a Sales Engineer to drive IoT solutions across diverse industries, supporting logistics, safety, fleet, and asset management. You’ll work remotely in the Southeast US with travel up to 50% and collaborate with product and sales to deliver compelling technical solutions.

You’ll gain deep product expertise, craft deployment plans, and script against our open API to solve real-world problems for customers while aligning with Samsara’s high-performance culture and flexible remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in pre-sales, customer success, or related role.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to business impact.
• Experience evaluating hardware and software products.
• Basic electronics understanding.
• Familiarity with cloud software, networking, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Samsara products and how IoT, AI, and cloud services enable digital transformation for physical operations.
• Articulate value and solve customer challenges through demonstrations and proof of concept implementations.
• Lead deployment planning with installers and document repeatable deployment steps.
• Develop scripts against open API and document for team reuse.
• Act as consultant to customers to deepen account engagement (integration, upsell, cross-sell).
• Bridge product and sales teams with feedback and beta program enrollment.
• Champion Samsara values and help scale globally.
