Samsara is seeking a Sales Engineer to join a diverse, technically minded team delivering connected operations solutions. You will engage with customers on logistics, fleet maintenance, asset management, and systems integration, advocating for Samsara’s API-based solutions and IoT platform.

This remote Midwest‑area role requires strong technical communication, hardware and software understanding, and a customer‑first mindset. Relocation is not offered.

Competenze

• Experience communicating with customers in pre‑sales or support roles is preferred.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Familiarity with cloud software, networks, and automation/controls is a plus.

• Become an expert on Samsara products and how they fit customer needs.
• Demonstrate quick discovery to understand customer requirements on calls.
• Support standard demo coverage and provide temporary technical expertise across the team.
• Explain device installation and how to deploy APIs in testing environments.
