Job summary

Cyera is seeking a Sales Engineer for Identity Security in California. You will work with prospects to design enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions, delivering PoVs and demos to executives and technical teams.

Ideal candidates have cloud security experience, knowledge of identity principles, and are comfortable traveling up to 50%. The role requires strong communication and a consultative sales approach in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Previous Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP or data security experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales role.
• Strong understanding of Identity and key identity principles.
• Experience with AI-driven solutions is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure environments (roles/permissions/API).
• Fundamental network & database experience.
• Understanding of data storage types, encryption, key management, cloud IAM, and network design.

Responsibilities

• Drive incremental revenue through large, complex sales opportunities that maximize Cyera’s capabilities and integrated value proposition.
• Identify client business issues and architect an information availability solution using Cyera's products and services.
• Deliver and manage PoV’s and Use Case Demos on customer sites, and drive sales via technical demonstrations.
• Coordinate and align internal resources via cross-functional communication to support sales.
• Act as the technical point of contact for the partner channel and represent Cyera at events.
