Job summary

Harness is seeking a Sales Engineer to blend sales and engineering, delivering compelling demonstrations and guiding customers to a commercial relationship. You will represent Harness at field events, stay current on product evolutions, and translate customer requirements into engineering input.

You will travel as needed within a sales territory and bring strong cloud, DevOps, and Terraform expertise to drive complex technical engagements that prove value.

Qualifications

• World-class presentation skills for platform demos.
• Ability to tie business problems to technical solutions.
• Background in software development or DevOps.
• Strong cloud knowledge and infrastructure automation experience (Terraform).
• Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs and conveying requirements to engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and lead tech-focused engagements.
• Represent the product at events, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Stay up-to-date on Harness technologies and roadmaps.
• Travel within a sales territory as needed to progress deals.
