Job summary

J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. is seeking a driven Account Executive to join our National Accounts team.

This remote role supports clients in the Midwest with travel up to 50% to strengthen relationships and drive growth. You will partner with Inside Sales to expand strategic customer connections and deliver cloud-based solutions and services that improve safety and compliance outcomes. The ideal candidate has consultative field sales experience, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and

Qualifications

• Experience field sales in a consultative selling environment.
• Experience selling services, software, subscriptions, or other solution-based offerings.
• Knowledge of Transportation, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or regulatory compliance industries preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong consultative selling and business development abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory or industry concepts clearly to customers.
• Proven negotiation and account management skills.
• Strong presentation and executive communication capabilities.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver\'s license required and ability to travel ~50%+.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account growth strategies for assigned customers.
• Partner with Inside Sales Representatives to identify opportunities and expand relationships.
• Consult with decision-makers to understand business challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and supply agreements.
• Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to adoption.
• Identify and engage new stakeholders within customer organizations.
• Coordinate meetings, presentations, and onsite visits to strengthen partnerships.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience by proactively resolving issues.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information.
