Job summary

J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Account Executive to expand national accounts from a remote US Midwest territory, collaborating with Inside Sales to deliver safety, compliance, and risk-management solutions.

This role requires travel about 50%, strong consultative selling, and full sales-cycle management across industries. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; experience in services/software helpful; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales using consultative selling approaches.
• Experience selling services, software, subscriptions, or other solution-based offerings.
• Knowledge of Transportation, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), or regulatory compliance industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account growth strategies for assigned customers.
• Partner with Inside Sales Representatives to identify opportunities and expand relationships.
• Consult with decision-makers to understand business challenges and tailor solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and supply agreements to mutual benefit.
• Manage full sales cycle from opportunity to implementation and adoption.
• Identify and engage new stakeholders within existing customer organizations.
• Coordinate meetings, presentations, and onsite visits to strengthen partnerships.
• Serve as a trusted advisor navigating evolving safety and compliance requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience by resolving issues and driving customer success.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information.
