Itron, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Functional/Project Lead) to guide enterprise SaaS deployments for utilities and cities. You will own functional workstreams, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, high-quality go-lives.

The role focuses on business process alignment, configuration decisions, and stakeholder engagement, with up to 50% travel from a remote US base. The ideal candidate combines customer focus with strong communication and project leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in implementation consulting or related SaaS roles.
• Experience leading enterprise software deployments.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable configuration and process solutions.
• Proven project management: timelines, risks, dependencies.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication, workshop facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional implementation workstream for enterprise deployments from kickoff to go-live.
• Own timelines, milestones, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops with customer teams.
• Translate business requirements into configuration plans (hazards, templates, workflows).
• Coordinate with technical consultants to align functional and technical work.
• Lead status meetings, steering committees, and capture decisions for repeatable delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and knowledge transfer to Support/CS teams.
• Identify improvements and reusable templates to scale deployments.
