Job summary

Itron is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Functional/Project Lead) to drive the functional and project management activities for deploying our SaaS platform to enterprise utility customers. This role ensures structured, on-time implementations with strong stakeholder engagement and customer enablement.

The successful candidate will lead workstreams, manage timelines, and partner with technical delivery teams to align functional config with customer workflows across hazard libraries,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in implementation consulting, project management, or SaaS deployments.
• Experience leading enterprise software implementations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into configuration and processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional implementation workstream from kickoff to go-live.
• Own timelines, milestones, risks, and cross-functional coordination.
• Facilitate discovery workshops to map customer processes.
• Define configuration plans for forms, templates, and permissions.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations and data migration.
• Lead status meetings and ensure transparent project delivery.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and artefacts.
• Provide guidance to help customers maximize platform value.
