Job summary

Itron is seeking a Technical Implementation Consultant to lead the technical workstreams required to deploy our SaaS platform for enterprise utility customers. You will own design decisions, configuration, integrations, data migration, and security validation to ensure secure, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in solutions/implementation consulting, architecture, or technical deployment in enterprise SaaS.
• Proven experience leading technical workstreams for enterprise software deployments.
• Hands-on with SSO technologies (SAML, OIDC, SCIM).
• Experience with APIs, integration patterns, and data migrations/imports.
• Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable technical configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting across authentication, integrations, and environment setup.
• Ability to collaborate with customer IT, internal engineering, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation workstream for enterprise deployments from kickoff to go-live.
• Perform technical discovery of customer environments, identity systems, integrations, and data sources.
• Translate requirements into scalable configuration and deployment plans.
• Define decisions aligned with platform standards and maintainability.
• Partner with Customer Success and Implementation teams to align with rollout strategy.
• Document and track technical activities for transparency and repeatability.
• Lead SSO/configuration and security readiness activities.
• Validate integrations and data migrations with customers and engineering.
