Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Functional/Project Lead) to drive the end-to-end deployment of our SaaS platform for energy and utilities customers.

You will lead functional workstreams, coordinate with technical teams, and ensure configurations align with customer operations and goals. The role requires strong communication, project leadership, and the ability to facilitate workshops and define scalable configuration plans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in implementation consulting, project management, or SaaS deployment roles.
• Experience leading project or functional workstreams for enterprise software implementations.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable, well-documented configuration and processes.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including technical consultants and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and workshop facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional implementation workstream from kickoff to go-live with accountability for delivery quality and outcomes.
• Own implementation timelines, milestones, risk management, and cross-team coordination.
• Facilitate discovery workshops to map customer processes and success criteria; translate to configuration plans.
• Partner with Technical/Solution Consultants to align requirements with technical activities (integrations, SSO, data migration).
• Lead stakeholder meetings and maintain project documentation for repeatable delivery.
