Job summary

Thryv, Inc. is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative in Portland, OR, with the flexibility of remote work. The role focuses on growing the SaaS client base by nurturing existing accounts and prospecting new ones to meet a sales quota, with over half of duties conducted outside the home office.

You will call on clients, advance opportunities, and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey. Expect travel around 50% and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company)
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• 50% driving requirement and valid driver’s license.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs.
• Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (i.e. networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs.
• Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (i.e., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.).
• Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
