Job summary

Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to expand its SaaS client base and deepen engagement with existing software clients. The role requires driving growth beyond the home office and meeting a predefined sales quota while leveraging Thryv’s comprehensive business automation platform.

The position emphasizes outbound prospecting, strong relationship-building, and the ability to work remotely with a valid driver's license and a 1-hour local commute.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience
• 2+ years’ outbound sales (full sales cycle) experience
• Industry knowledge with Thryv product suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
• Time and organization skills to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn new programs
• 50%+ of work outside home office
• 50% driving requirement and valid driver’s license
• Must live local to the posting city within a 1-hour commute

Responsibilities

• Grow penetration in the existing client base and expand SaaS client base
• Call on clients to nurture relationships and pursue new opportunities to meet quota
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients via self-prospecting and company programs
• Follow defined operational processes and cadences
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed
