Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to grow local SaaS clients in Birmingham, AL. This remote-friendly role requires building a new book of business and managing ongoing client relationships to hit quotas.

You'll travel to meet prospects, develop a pipeline from scratch, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to advance sales strategies while supporting Thryv's mission to help small businesses compete online.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market.
• Build their own pipeline from the ground up through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting to meet a predetermined sales quota.
• Conduct greater than 50% of work outside of their home office.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
• Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to help them learn how Thryv can grow their business.
• Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as new products are introduced.
