Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support transportation improvement projects with design and detailing of local, county, and state roadways. This remote role involves geometric analyses, design documentation, and mentoring with occasional travel to the primary location.

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering, 4+ years in highway/roadway design, a PE license, and proficiency in Microstation and Open Roads Designer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license; GA license a plus.
• Proficiency in Microstation and Open Roads Designer is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Create design documentation, plans and reports for tasks and quantities.
• Monitor compliance with codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design quality.
