Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support regional and national transportation improvement projects. The role involves designing local, county, and state roadways and highways, with emphasis on geometric analyses, calculations, and design documentation.

The position is remote and supports projects using Design/Build and other Alternative Delivery methods across the region and country. A PE license and strong Microstation/Open Roads Designer skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 4+ years of transportation engineering (Highway/Roadway) experience; GA GDOT experience a plus.
• PE license required; GA license a plus.
• Proficiency in Microstation and Open Roads Designer software.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Prepare design documentation, plans, and reports for tasks and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
