Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support transportation projects nationwide. You will design typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts and cross-sections using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer, and help ensure quality across projects.

The role is remote with some travel; a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 4+ years of highway design experience, and a PE license (GA a plus) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum four years of transportation/highway design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; GA license a plus.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer required.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Create design documentation, plans, reports, and quantity calculations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect data for topographic surveys and ROW design analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design quality.
