Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support regional and national transportation projects. The role is remote, with design tasks for local, county, and state roadway projects and potential Design/Build delivery methods.

You will develop typical sections, alignments, and design documentation, while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring compliance with standards. A PE license is required, with GA license a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license required; GA license is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microstation and Open Roads Designer is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Create design documentation, plans, and reports for tasks and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect and process data for topographic surveys and ROW design.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design quality on projects.
