Job summary

Consor, a California-based engineering firm, is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support transportation improvement projects across local, county, and state levels. This remote role emphasizes roadway design, geometric analysis, and documentation using Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.

You will develop typical sections, alignments, layouts, and reports, while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring compliance with design codes on high-profile projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience (highway/roadway design).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license; GA license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Prepare design documentation, plans, and reports for tasks and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide design oversight.
