Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support regional and national transportation projects. The role is remote and may involve some travel to the primary location.

You will design typical sections, alignments, profiles and cross-sections while working with a team to produce plans and reports. Qualified candidates will have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 4+ years in highway/roadway design, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience (Highway/Roadway design).
• Professional Engineer license required; GA license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts and cross-sections.
• Collaborate with design team to prepare design documentation, plans and reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect and process data from topographic surveys and right-of-way for design analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership in design tasks and QC.
