Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of complex transportation design projects, including roadway, multimodal, and intersection design. You will apply engineering judgment, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with project engineers and managers to deliver accurate, efficient, and constructible solutions.

The role involves leading detailed design plans, performing calculations, coordinating among teams, and supporting quality control and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in civil engineering required.
• 2+ years Texas transportation engineering design experience required.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Perform advanced design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and design deliverables.
