Job summary

Consor seeks a roadway design engineer to support transportation improvement projects with the design and detailing of roadway and highway projects. You’ll assist with geometric analyses and calculations using established design criteria and standard software.

This hybrid role blends office and field work; candidates should have a PE license, a BS in civil or structural engineering, and at least four years of transportation experience.

Qualifications

• BS in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency with Microstation, AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Support design team in plans, reports, and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering for design analysis.
