Job summary
Consor seeks a roadway design engineer to support transportation improvement projects through the design and detailing of local, county, and state roadway and highway projects. You will perform geometric analyses, prepare design documentation, and assist with quantity calculations while collaborating with the project team.
The role requires a B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering, a PE license, and at least four years of transportation experience, with proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
- Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software expected.
- This hybrid role combines office and field work with standard office equipment and environmental conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
- Support design team in development of design documentation, plans, reports, and quantity calculations.
- Monitor compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
- Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
- Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right‑of‑way engineering used in design analysis.
