Job summary

Consor is seeking a roadway engineering designer to support transportation improvement projects, performing design and detailing for local, county, and state roadway initiatives. The role blends office and field work in a hybrid setup, with responsibilities ranging from geometric analyses to preparing design documentation and reports, and performing calculations.

A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required and an EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Support design team in development of design documentation, plans, and reports for tasks and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering for use in design analysis.
